Other Info: At the Front. He has been awarded the Military Medal for most conspicuous gallantry and good leading in the Battle of Ypres on July 31st and August 1st and 2nd. He rendered valuable assistance in organising ammunition, water and ration parties, and bringing them up a road heavily sniped by the enemy. He made five journeys for this purpose and succeeded in getting rations, etc, to his Company. He has since been promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
