Other Info: Wounded at the Battle of the Marne. He is the son of the famous actor (pictured below). When his son was shot he received a postcard from Lieutenant-Colonel Montressor, who was killed in the next action. On the postcard was the following message; “Your son’s wound is in the right leg, and a severe one. We are debarred from giving particulars. Your son has done fine work for the Regiment, and we shall miss him badly.”
