This is my great grandfather, we've always lived in East Sussex (the Stapleys) I have loads of photos of him and his family before he left for the war. Sadly never returned to his family home in battle.
One of the Stapley’s.. we are in south London, Greenwich. Amazing to think we are probably all related. Me, born 1956, Dad, Edward William Samuel Stapley. Died 15/12/1988. His Dad, my grandfather, EWS Stapley. Died 1958
Stuart Edward Stapley - Ted Stapley was my Great-Grandfather too. My Grandfather was Jack Stapley and my Mother was Anne Stapley.
Who was your Grandparent - Dick, Fred or Vi?
Would love to connect & perhaps get copies of any pictures you have, as I have very few.
