Frederick Powell was my great-uncle, is he actually buried anywhere? or is this just a memorial?
thx
Hi Graham. It is a memorial stone, so Frederick’s body was sadly either not recovered or unidentifiable. His name is one of 3,740 men who fell at the battles of Mons, Le Cateau, the Marne and the Aisne between the end of August and early October 1914. Kind Regards, Kieron
