He returned to duty a week later. … Corporal Tester, before the war, was a motorman in the employ of the Hastings and St Leonards Tramway Company.”

Wounded. Now lying in hospital in France.

  • My grandfather ( christened Bertie not Albert) was still living in the Hollington area when he died in 1971. He became a bus driver after the war. He had 2 daughters with his wife, Muriel.
