Harry Cornwall was a paternal great uncle and he died of TB on 28th September 1918 in 7 Kenilworth Road, Hastings, aged 35. He was the eldest child of James Alfred Cornwall and his wife, Ellen. They had 8 children. Harry's civilian occupation was a Blacksmith & Wheelwright, same as his father, James. As far as I can gather, Harry never served abroad during the War.
Thanks Deborah, post updated. Strange that he didn't serve abroad, but perhaps there was plenty of work for a man with his skills on the home front.
