Other Info: Killed in Action on 26th August 1914. According to CWGC, Harry is remembered at the Caullery Communal Cemetery, north west of the middle of the cemetery. He is the only British soldier recorded as being buried there, and his memorial stone can be viewed here.

Harry Cruttenden (born c.1896) and James William Cruttenden (DOB 13 Jan 1894) were sons of William Cruttenden and Caroline Burgess. In 1911 they were at 57 Sandown Road Hastings. Both were errand boys to a Confectioner and Post Office respectively.
